Registration Policy


  • Registration fee per family is due at the time of registration. 
  • Registration is on a first come first serve basis.  Spots are not held year to year.
  • Request to Register Submission does not secure your spot.
  • Registration is accepted when invoice has been paid.
  • A child will not be permitted to take the class if a payment is not received.
  • Students will not participate in the recital until all fees, late charges, damage charges and costume balances are received.
  • The Edge Performing Arts Inc., assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged goods.

Term is based on 12 weeks. Year is based on 36 weeks. Stat Holidays will be deducted on Invoice. HST#858313885

  • A late fee of $25 will be charged after 7 days of due date.
  • If parent/guardian is dropping off and picking up it must be communicated to the instructor.
  • If registration is split between two parties, complete payment from both parties is required for student to be permitted in class.
  • Classes cancelled due to inclement weather; There are no refunds for cancelled classes. Make up class dates will be noted in email. Notifications of cancelled classes are sent via email by 3:30pm and posted on Website TheEdgePA.ca

Privacy Policy


    • The Edge Performing Arts Inc., will not take promotional photos for local newspaper articles, online presentation, advertisements and promotional material unless parents have been notified and a permission form has been submitted.  Any photograph which include children, their families, staff are used with permission and written consent of those authorized to give consent.  It is forbidden that any individual, corporation or organization to any way copy or use the photographs from the website for any purpose without the consent and written permission of The Edge School of Performing Arts Inc.
    • The Edge School of Performing Arts does not authorize to have their routines (groups/duet/trio/solos) posted on social media.  Videos are for personal use only.  Written permission from the choreographer and other participants is required to release the routine. 


    Code of Conduct Policy

    • Respect for teachers, parents and peers will be expected at all times.  
    • Respect others personal space.
    • Appropriate attire
    • No swearing or foul language
    • No cellphone use during class.
    • Parents/students do not interrupt classes while in progress.  Please make appointment if you wish to book a meeting with a teacher.

    Cancellation Policy


        • In the Case you need to cancel you must submit your request to The Edge School of Performing Arts in writing by letter or email.
        • All requests for cancellation must be approved by the Director.
        • Registration Fees are non refundable. 
        • By cancelling a Term Registration, Paid In Full for the Year Registration or Monthly Registration you automatically forfeit one month of your tuition fees. There is a $50 cancellation fee per child for Term/Monthly Registrations; a $100 cancellation fee per child for Paid In Full for the Year Registration. There is no grace period or negotiation based on attendance. 
        • In the case of removing a class after registration there is $15 administrative fee. There is no grace period or negotiation based on attendance. 
        • Entry fees are non refundable. 
        • Cancellation of Hip Hop with Guest Teacher there is a $25 cancellation fee per child. There is no grace period or negotiation based on attendance. 
        • Cancellation of Solo/Duet/Trio/Small Group Choreography there is a $20 cancellation fee per routine.
